We are immensely grateful to the Co-op Local Community Fund which has helped us launch our cushion sponsorship scheme, contributing over £900 to our £10,000 target. Private sponsors have added to this so we are well over 10% of the way to creating a unique and comfortable performance space to complement other venues in the town.

Businesses and private individuals are invited to sponsor cushions for £50 each or sections of cushions, which will be acknowledged with permanent labelling and in our publicity material for the Hall.

Christmas Concert

The New County Choir return to the Joseph Wright Hall with their performance of The Infancy of Christ, a Christmas cantata, by Douglas Coombes.

7.30pm

Tickets (£6) can be bought on the door.

There will be refreshments on sale after the concert.

Please note: we only have stair access to the first floor auditorium – but there is also a stair lift if required.

The Snow Queen

Victorian Christmas

11am – 4pm

Indoor Christmas market and Victorian fair in the Infants Schoolroom, with Barton’s only authentic Victorian Father Christmas in his secret Grotto.  Enjoy mulled wine around a blazing fire or afternoon tea in the festive coffee shop – come inside away from the crowds.
