The Horse, the Ambulance and the Wagoners’ Special Reserve

Martin Watts, from the Wagoners’ Museum at Sledmere, describes the importance of horses for the army in the First World War, and the role of veterinary hospitals and mobile veterinary units.  Part of the Barton upon Humber Civic Society lecture programme.  Non-members £2

Platinum Street Party

Pretend you’re having your own Platinum Jubilee “street party” in the comfort of the Museum with royal refreshments provided by The Old School Canteen.  The “party” runs all through the holiday weekend and tables can be booked with a Memory Box to borrow and explore with your family.
