Our Back to School theme continues with more history they didn’t teach us, this time a look at Elizabethan Hull with Jean Cannon.

These special tours are held on the first Sunday of each month when the Museum is closed to general visitors. They’re free for Annual Ticket holders. Annual Tickets cost £5.

Between April and December 1844, the school on Queen Street was conceived, designed and built, opening as a National School for Boys, Girls and Infants in the New Year. This remarkable achievement is documented in the School’s Minutes Book and is the focus of this special exhibition at St. Mary’s Church, Burgate.
Join author and Bake Off winner Nancy Birtwhistle for a festive evening as we welcome her as a patron of the Queen Street School Preservation Trust.
